All of my life (and I’m getting pretty old) I have been “pushing a rope”. The interesting thing about that is I am a “peace at any price” kind of guy also. I do not enjoy conflict. I know people who relish conflict but I’m not one. The Bible actually has something to say about this issue as it does about all issues.
“Do all things without grumbling or disputing; that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and pervers generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.”
Lots of opportunity these days to follow this advice as we live in a crooked and perverse environment. The problem with this senario (for me) is that I’m almost always “right”. When I’m not right I’m willing to admit it. How about you?
