ARROGANT!!

I’m trying to remember an example of arrogant.  Two come to mind from a really long time ago, high school.  Albert was a running back on our football team.  He was big, strong, and really fast and he liked to let us know how big and strong and fast he was.  The funny thing was that if he could see that he was going to get tackled, he would just fall down.  If we could get him through the line, he was gone.

The second example was Bobby.  He was also on the football team.  He was left guard.  He was also strong, and big and really mean.  He was probably more of a bully than arrogant.  He used to go up and down the lunch line at school at noon and steal lunch money from everybody and no one was big enough, or strong enough or mean enough to challenge him.  He was also a member of a gang (before gangs were a “thing”)  from the next town over.  I played right guard on the football team so I had to face off with him in practice and it was a scary thing.
